veggie veggie good!

Hi guys! I just want to share some good news to all of you. One of my hardest time daily is to feed my kids with healthy foods. they don't eat veggies! yah! you heard it right. They don't want to it veggies that's why I think of something new. I prepared veggies for our lunch, I cook banana blossom which we both love to eat also by with my husband. I just saute it with seasonings and I left some and added a flour for extender and seasoning too! I fried it like a burger patties. I serve it with hot rice and and "jaran!" I told my kids that it was a burger patties and they eat a lot! My husband and I keep on lauging on the side while watching them if they will notice that it's not really a burger meat. Next time another veggies to prepare. Good Day!

Christmas Cake

Christmas Fruitcake

You will need: •4 cups raisins •1 cup candied cherries - halved •1 cup candied pineapple •1 cup diced candied mixed fruit •1 cup pecan halves •1 cup thinly sliced almonds •2 cups flour •1/2 tsp. baking soda •1 cup brown sugar •6 eggs - separated •1 cup vegetable shortening •1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon •1 tsp nutmeg •1 1/2 tsp. ground cloves •1/2 square unsweetened baking chocolate(melted) •1/4 cup lemon juice •1/4 cup orange juice Preparation - Thoroughly grease a 4" x 10" tube cake pan or 2 large loaf pans pans, or 3 medium size loaf pans. Line the bottom and sides with aluminum foil. Lightly spray the foil with nonstick cooking spray; set aside. In a large bowl, combine the fruit and nuts. Toss the mixture with 1 cup flour to coat. In a second bowl, sift the remaining flour with the baking soda and spices. In a very large bowl, at medium speed, beat the shortening and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the egg yolks, one at a time, beating well afer each addition. Add the melted chocolate & mix well. At low speed, alternately beat in the flour/spice mixture and the fruit juices. In a separate bowl, with clean beaters, beat the egg whites until stiff. Fold the beaten egg whites into the batter. Add the fruit and nut mixture and stir in by hand until all the ingredients are well mixed. Turn the batter into the prepared pan (1 tube pan or 2 large loaf pans or 3 small loaf pans). Bake in a preheated oven at 300º - in a tube cake pan for 2 hours and 20 minutes; in 2 large loaf pans for 1 hr and 45 minutes; in 3 small loaf pans for 1-1/2 hours. Cool completely in the pan, on a wire racke. Remove the cooled cake from the pan and wrap it well. Merry Christmas guys!

Hi everyone! I tried to open my blogger account and great that i still can post and continue what I've started since 2008. If you will noticed I only have 3 post for this year, sad... this is my just 3rd post for 2012 and now we're on the last month. school blues

This is Jerry , favorite tv program of my kids, Tom and Jerry, they love watching it daily and it really made them laugh out loud every time they watch it. It's been a year when the scenario is just exactly the same. During the end of the school year in nursery when I got disappointed for the final result of my dearest Chloee. Last year when her rank down to 8th from Top 3 because of the other part of grading system the "extra-curricular activities". I hate that feeling, I really felt bad for that time. Ending was still she became a part of the Top TEN with Best in Science award. Now, in kinder for the past 2 quarter, she made it to the top. Ranked 1 is such a big blast for me, I know she can make it and everybody around the school knows she's deserving to stay on her place but because of consecutive absences, I doubt it. 3rd quarter result in ranking is strictly confidential that's why I don't know what happen to her rank for now, hopefully this coming finals it will end in a better result although you missed some lessons I know you can be at your best anak. I know it's not your fault, if can do something for to get your thrown back, I will. Anyways, whatever is the result for final grading I know you did your best. For me your my no.1 baby, i love you!

Happy 2012

The year 2011 is such a great year for me.
So many trials and problems arise.
I expect too much during the 1st quarter that's why
I got disappointments on later part.

When the middle part came,
nothing change, still the same
there are those people who has the attitude
but I have the character and think to be good.

The last quarter is also tough
when our bread and butter is gone.
But still standing with faith and will
ready to face and embrace the new year!

My babies, Chloee and Clark Cedrake L. Villahermosa. A 5 and 2 years old kids who have been my strength and my source of joy aside from our God.
